Auditions!

Bruce County Playhouse will be holding local auditions for their upcoming and future productions. If you are interested in the performing arts and would like the chance to audition for us, we would love to meet you!

Auditions will take place in the Sunlife Financial office in the Arlington Building in Port Elgin (625 Goderich St. – lower level), on Thursday, April 27th in the evening.

Please prepare a short contemporary monologue no longer than 2 minutes in length. If you have a headshot and resume or list of previous experience, please bring a copy with you to the audition.

Bruce County Playhouse Southampton Remembers

Join us for this wonderful site-specific theatre experience in honour of Canada’s 150th celebration!  As the audience is lead to various locations in downtown Southampton, they will watch scenes unfold from and inspired by the area’s local history.

The day after their friend Catherine’s funeral, Margot, Tate, and Connie gather for a round of golf in honour of their recently departed fourth. At the golf course they are joined by another woman, an old friend of Catherine’s they’d never met. Over the course of eighteen holes, secrets and confessions unravel as the women discuss love, sex, children, and everything in between.
